Role Description COMET Estimating is looking for an SEO Web Content Writer who can write clear and simple content for our website and marketing pages. This is a full time job with a hybrid work option. We need someone who can explain our services in a way that is easy for everyone to understand. You will help improve our online presence and make our website appear higher in search results. You should enjoy writing, doing research, and creating content that helps people learn. You will also work with our SEO team to make sure the content matches our company goals.
Responsibilities Write easy to understand content for our website, blogs, and landing pages Research keywords that can help people find COMET Estimating online Create content plans that support our marketing and business goals Improve on page SEO like titles, descriptions, headings, and image text Work with the marketing and design team to keep content and visuals consistent Edit and proofread content to make sure it is clear and correct Check content performance and make improvements when needed Learn and stay updated about SEO rules and writing trends
Qualifications Experience as a seo optimised website content, blog writing and Social media captions Good understanding of SEO and how search engines work Strong writing and editing skills Ability to write content for websites and social media Basic knowledge of tools like WordPress is a plus Strong research skills and attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or any related field
