🌐 Job Title: Portuguese - Chinese Translator Department: Localization / International Operations Location: Prey Veng, Cambodia Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

📝 Job Description (JD): We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Portuguese - Chinese Translator to join our growing localization and international communications team at Binance. You will be responsible for accurately translating content between Portuguese and Simplified/Traditional Chinese across a variety of formats, including marketing material, product documentation, legal content, and real-time communications. You will play a key role in ensuring Binance’s products, services, and communications are accurately represented and culturally relevant in both Chinese-speaking and Portuguese-speaking markets.

✅ Job Responsibilities (JR): Translate written documents, including product interfaces, marketing campaigns, customer communications, and help center articles, between Portuguese and Chinese. Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and terminology across all translations. Localize crypto-related content in a culturally appropriate manner for both target audiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, legal, and customer support to align on messaging and terminology. Review and edit translations completed by others to ensure high linguistic and contextual quality. Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail. Provide real-time interpretation during live meetings or events when needed.

🎯 Requirements: Native or near-native proficiency in both Portuguese and Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional). Proven experience as a professional translator, preferably in crypto, fintech, or tech industries. Deep understanding of cultural contexts in both Portuguese- and Chinese-speaking markets. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Experience using translation tools like CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ), and localization platforms (e.g., Crowdin, Lokalise) is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related field preferred.

⭐️ Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain terminology, and Binance products. Experience working in a global remote team environment. Ability to translate legal or technical documents is a plus.
