Principal Data Center Network Engineer  Plano, Texas (Must have locals)

Visa: GC/Citizen/H4 -- (W2 only)   15+ years of experience   Job Description: Lead technical strategy and architectures: Drive the definition and execution of complex, high-impact engineering projects and influence company-wide technology   Mentor and develop engineers  Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary adjustments to optimize performance and reliability  Primary owner and person responsible for managing our Texas data center  Manage space and power capacity  Oversee server and storage installations  Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards in network configuration and operations    Must have skills: BS (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field, MS is preferred.  15+ years in network engineering, data center management or relevant experience  Expert level knowledge with Cisco ACI  Service provider networking technologies and protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, RSVP, QoS, EVPN, VXLAN, traffic engineering (backbone & edge)  Passionate about infrastructure automation through software, together with solid hands-on experience of network automation  Involvement with modern observability platforms (Elastic, Grafana, gNMI, etc)  Experience with network flow export (Netflow, IPFIX, sFlow) and analysis  Experience presenting to senior leadership  Proven leadership abilities, including mentoring, team building and project management experience    Nice to have skills: CCIE – Data Center  Some experience as a team lead  Data center management experience especially with power and space capacity manager  Solid security minded foundation and thought process  Understanding of ITIL terminology for incident and change management.  Experience with Data center power and cooling concepts.  Experience with Data Center Infrastructure management (DCIM)
