Title: Senior Frontend Developer | React.js Location:Remote Duration: 6 months contract Visa Restrictions: 🔴 Only USC or GC Mode of Interview:Video     Job description:     What you will do You will join a senior, collaborative engineering team and take ownership of modern frontend development across several critical applications. On any given week you might: Ship new React features and UI components for core public health applications Help migrate a flagship product from older JSP and JSF screens to a clean, modern React experience Integrate with GraphQL and REST APIs and help shape how data flows through the frontend Trace tricky bugs across the stack and lightly troubleshoot Spring Boot services when issues touch the backend SSH into client servers to review logs and debug issues while the team moves toward a more cloud native Azure and Docker environmen You will have room to influence UI architecture, component patterns, and developer experience while working closely with product owners, business analysts, and public health subject matter experts.

What you bring:   You are a hands-on frontend engineer who cares about both usability and reliability. You are comfortable owning features from idea to production and you do not mind crossing into the backend when needed. You have practical experience with: React for building modern, component based frontends TypeScript and solid, modern TS habits Node.js along with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals Integrating with GraphQL and REST APIs in production systems CSS in JS workflows or similar styling approaches Unit, integration, and E2E testing, Git based workflows, and working in a Linux environment   Nice to have experience includes : Docker, build tools such as Webpack or Vite, and prior work in healthcare, public health, or government funded environments. Consulting and client facing experience is a plus, since the team works closely with high touch stakeholders.
