About the Role
The Director of Creative + Content Marketing at 10x Genomics leads the strategy, creation, and delivery of engaging content across all channels. This role oversees editorial direction and creative production, including multimedia, visual assets, copywriting, and scientific writing.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and evolve the brand’s narrative, voice, and visual identity
- →Set the vision for all content marketing, balancing scientific rigor with creative storytelling
- →Develop a multi-channel editorial and creative calendar
- →Guide visual/graphic design for content assets
- →Draft, review, and refine core content including thought leadership articles and technical blogs
- →Lead creation and review of campaign copy, web pages, and sales collateral
- →Oversee end-to-end production of digital and print content
- →Manage a hybrid team of in-house specialists and external contributors
- →Serve as the key marketing stakeholder on creative projects
- →Enforce content and creative brand standards
- →Measure and optimize content performance
- →Mentor content creators and science communicators
Requirements
- ✓7 years in content/creative/marketing roles
- ✓2 years in a content or creative production team leadership role
- ✓Bachelor’s in scientific discipline, English, Marketing/Communications, or related field
- ✓Proven background in life sciences or deep technology content marketing
- ✓Strong editorial and copywriting expertise
- ✓Demonstrated ability to oversee visual creative and digital production workflows
- ✓Excellent project management skills
- ✓Experience managing freelance and in-house contributors
