ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Graphic Designer with hands-on experience creating for DTC / eCommerce brands who can concept, design, and iterate on high-performing ad creatives that drive engagement, strengthen our brand, and support marketing growth.
Design is one of our most important growth levers, especially across paid social and digital marketing. Right now, design work is fragmented and slows down creative output. This role exists to bring consistency, speed, and quality to our visual production process.
As our Graphic Designer, you will develop and produce polished visual assets ready for distribution across multiple platforms, helping the marketing team ship better creative, faster.
β οΈ THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF:
- Your experience is primarily in print design.
- You have not worked with DTC / eCommerce brands or performance-driven creatives
- You are not comfortable using AI image generation tools as part of your daily workflow
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Developing creative concepts and designing ad visuals from brief to final deliverable
- Generating and iterating on visuals using AI image generation tools
- Adapting and editing existing designs, copy swaps, layout variations, resizes, and format adjustments
- Replicating and iterating on existing design styles and creative references
- Exporting and formatting design deliverables optimized for different platforms
- Maintaining consistent visual quality and brand style across all creative output
- Editing and producing AppLovin End Cards optimized for mobile ad performance
- Creating and editing GIFs for use across paid social and digital marketing channels
- Designing and adapting website images - banners, landing page visuals, and promotional graphics
- Designing and iterating on packaging designs in line with brand guidelines and campaign needs
- Organizing and managing design project files and asset libraries
THIS ROLE DOES NOT INCLUDE

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
After 30 Days
- You understand the company's visual style, brand tone, and ad formats
- You can independently concept and produce short-form ad creatives
- You are fully integrated into the team's design workflow and AI tooling
- Your deliverables are on time and require minimal revisions
After 60 Days
- You fully own the end-to-end design of assigned creatives
- You manage your own asset files and project organization independently
- You consistently deliver platform-optimized visuals across formats
- You are actively contributing creative ideas, not just executing briefs
After 90 Days
- Design output speed has increased significantly
- Standard ad formats are produced at competitive speed without sacrificing quality
- Most designs pass quality control within two revision cycles
- Visual output is consistent across all projects
- The marketing team has a reliable, proactive creative partner
FAILURE SIGNALS
- Consistently missing deadlines
- Repeated revisions required for basic execution issues
- Inability to match brand style, visual tone, or ad format requirements
- Requiring constant direction to complete assigned tasks

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
EXPERIENCE
- 2β5+ years of experience in graphic design for social media, digital marketing, or DTC / eCommerce brands
- Proven track record creating high-performing static ad creatives for paid social
SKILLS
You already demonstrate:
- Strong ability to develop creative concepts for ads and visuals β not just execute briefs
- Deep understanding of what makes ad creatives perform on social media
- Ability to replicate and iterate on existing design styles and references
- Fast, efficient workflow without compromising visual quality
- Strong attention to detail across typography, layout, and composition
- Awareness of current design and advertising trends
- Ability to create or adapt packaging designs
- Experience with eCommerce or DTC brands specifically
TOOLS
You should already be comfortable using:
- AI image generation: Midjourney, Nanobanana or equivalent - including advanced prompting
- Adobe Photoshop - for compositing, retouching, and final adjustments
- Adobe Aftereffects
- Adobe Illustrator - for vector work and layout
- Canva
OWNERSHIP & COLLABORATION
In this role, you will own:
- Creative concepting and design execution end-to-end
- Exporting and formatting deliverables for different platforms
- Managing your design project files and asset organization
- Maintaining visual consistency across all creative output
You will primarily collaborate with:
- Director of Ops
- Marketing Project Manager
- Creative Strategists
