About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Security Engineer to join our team at Ivanti. This role focuses on designing and enhancing world-class security products used globally, safeguarding users against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage the integration of security best practices throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle
- →Build innovative and scalable security tools, processes, and solutions to detect, remediate, and mitigate vulnerabilities
- →Design secure architectures, perform threat modeling, and lead penetration testing and code reviews
- →Partner with development, operations, and architecture teams to embed security into DevOps practices
- →Lead security education initiatives by delivering training and documentation to cross-functional teams
- →Collaborate with global product and engineering teams to interpret vulnerability reports and coordinate security solutions
- →Advise stakeholders on prioritizing vulnerabilities and implementing secure coding standards
Requirements
- ✓Over 8 years of experience in web application security
- ✓Deep technical knowledge of security vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and remediation strategies
- ✓Proven expertise in applied cryptography, threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and secure software development practices
- ✓Experience implementing security tools and processes for large-scale codebases
- ✓Strong programming skills, preferably in Python
- ✓Ability to explain complex security topics to diverse stakeholders
- ✓Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in collaborative environments
