About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our security engineering team at Ivanti. This role focuses on developing and enhancing security features for our Network Security products in a challenging cyber security landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- →Hands-on design and development of features for enhancing the security of our Network Security products
- →Collaboration with architects and fellow software engineers to identify the best solutions for security challenges
- →Ensuring a high degree of security, reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of the product
- →Maintenance of existing code and troubleshooting issues in large-scale complex environments
- →Technical leadership and mentorship to other team members
- →Ownership of end-to-end delivery including Unit Testing, Validation, and Automation
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in designing and developing software for Enterprise Networking / Security Appliances preferably in SSL-VPN/NAC or related products
- ✓Excellent programming skills in C++ & Python
- ✓Good understanding of Networking Protocols development (DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, SSL, IPSec)
- ✓Understanding of OOPS Design Methodology with good knowledge in Data Structures/Algorithms
- ✓Good understanding of Linux OS concepts
- ✓Experience working in an AGILE environment and with geographically distributed teams
- ✓Excellent Team Player and ability to work with others to arrive at solutions
