About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join Abacum, a leading Business Planning solution for finance teams. You will help craft an intuitive, flexible UX/UI for our FP&A platform, making it the most user-friendly solution on the market.
Key Responsibilities
- →Understand the problem space and become a subject-matter expert of user problems and platform limitations
- →Explore design concepts and create design concepts considering user and business problems, technical requirements, and stakeholder inputs
- →Deliver viable solutions by proposing consistent and intuitive design solutions considering end-to-end workflows
- →Conduct evaluative research through user interviews and usability testing to uncover UX issues
- →Assess usability by continuously assessing the product through hands-on usage or observation
- →Contribute to the design system by maintaining and improving the Figma design library
- →Contribute to the discipline by helping define and conduct rituals, refine tools and ways of working
Requirements
- ✓Efficient, proactive, and thrive in fast-paced environments
- ✓Deep and up-to-date knowledge of UX principles and UI patterns
- ✓Logical thinker with the ability to understand, visualize, and simplify complex systems
- ✓Understanding of the fundamentals of software development, particularly in front-end development
- ✓Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving process and solid visual UI skills
- ✓Expert proficiency in Figma and Design Systems
- ✓Professional English (Essential) + Spanish/Catalan (nice to have)
