About the Role
Serve as Process Engineer within the AbbVie Technical Operations Function at the North Chicago Manufacturing site. This role involves resolving issues associated with commercial API products and processes, including the introduction of new products to the North Chicago site.
Key Responsibilities
- →Resolve issues associated with commercial API products and processes
- →Provide technical support to cross-functional teams during development, commercial launch, or problem-solving
- →Accountable for test results, project reports, and experiments in support of process development, validation activities, and Technical Transfers
- →Maintain and meet the highest standards in quality, customer service, and regulatory compliance
- →Plan and conduct small- to medium-size assigned projects within engineering specialty
- →Coordinate and monitor activities/projects
- →Review plans and monitor status of implementation
- →Estimate and coordinate resources needed to accomplish assigned tasks
- →Independently execute the design of products/processes/equipment/systems/facilities
- →Create/modify designs for intermediate problems
- →Improve methods/designs/processes
- →Mentor others by sharing technical expertise
- →Direct the efforts of technicians and outside resources
Requirements
- ✓Engineering professional with knowledge in scientific, engineering, mathematics, and ingenuity
- ✓Compliance with applicable policies and procedures
- ✓Ability to plan and conduct projects within engineering specialty
- ✓Experience in coordinating and monitoring activities/projects
- ✓Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- ✓Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
