About the Role
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team and lead the development of automation technologies and manufacturing control systems. This role will focus on improving site productivity, quality, and safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as the lead technical expert for Automation Applications, Process Control, and Manufacturing Execution Systems
- →Maintain system availability and prepare metrics to evaluate systems performance
- →Provide input and recommendations regarding business continuance issues and improvements to operating systems and processes
- →Monitor compliance and conform to all regulatory and company mandates
- →Provide guidance, technical advice, planning, and project management
- →Develop strategic roadmaps for Automation Applications and Process Control systems
- →Support in establishing a stable and future-ready digital foundation
- →Provide training for onsite users and engineers in Automation technologies and applications
- →Provide after-hours support as needed on a regular rotation
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in automation technologies and manufacturing control systems
- ✓Experience with dashboard development and data integration
- ✓Knowledge of Industry 4.0 initiatives
- ✓Excellent project management and technical advisory skills
