About the Role
Abnormal AI is seeking an Account Executive to join the SLED team, focusing on selling security solutions to State, Local, and Education agencies. The ideal candidate will have experience in public sector sales and a strong track record in early-stage environments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Sell Abnormal security solutions to SLED agencies to achieve new annual recurring revenue quota
- →Work accounts from initial conversations through signing contracts and up-selling
- →Prospect and generate new business opportunities within accounts
- →Collaborate with Customer Success for timely renewals and expansion opportunities
- →Document results and maintain accurate data across sales systems
- →Represent customer/prospect needs with internal teams to close more revenue
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of direct SLED sales experience
- ✓Proven track record of closing new accounts and growing existing ones
- ✓Skill in negotiating with large organizations
- ✓Consistent over quota performance
- ✓Technically competent in security, email, cloud, AI
- ✓Experience selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs
- ✓Start-up experience
- ✓BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
