About the Role
Abnormal AI is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Scoring Orchestration team. This team builds and maintains systems that power the ingestion of billions of emails per day, serving as the backbone of Abnormal's core Inbound Email Security product.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and execute software projects critical to Abnormal's core product
- →Improve stability, performance, and scalability of backend services processing billions of emails daily
- →Collaborate with R&D teams including Detection, Products, and Infrastructure
- →Participate in oncall rotations to maintain system reliability
- →Drive continuous improvement in system efficiency and reliability
- →Contribute to knowledge sharing and professional development
Requirements
- ✓BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
- ✓3+ years of experience in backend software development and distributed systems
- ✓Experience with Go and/or Python
- ✓Experience working with distributed teams and asynchronous communication
- ✓Experience building and operating software features and components
- ✓Willingness to follow established guidelines and coding practices
