About the Role
Abnormal's Identity Security team is seeking a Tech Lead Manager to build and lead a critical product area focused on securing cloud infrastructure and AI systems. This role combines hands-on technical work with team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a team of 2-4 engineers, writing and reviewing code daily alongside them
- →Collaborate on technical direction while building foundations for a scalable product
- →Partner with internal and external customers to gather feedback and iterate quickly
- →Grow the team and product as the company finds traction and expands scope
- →Set engineering standards and practices that will scale as the team grows
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ year in a tech lead or engineering management role
- ✓Track record of shipping products in fast-moving environments
- ✓Ability to read, write, and review code at a high level (Python/Go preferred)
- ✓Experience hiring and developing engineers
- ✓Bay Area location required (25% in-office presence)
