About the Role

We are looking for a Data Science Leader to join Abridge, a company transforming healthcare delivery experiences with generative AI. This role involves building a world-class data team and implementing a comprehensive data strategy to democratize data in the age of AI.

Key Responsibilities

→Build and manage a world-class team of data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship and high standards
→Foster a high impact and collaborative team culture focused on agency and clarity of thinking
→Drive product strategy through data-driven insights across our growing product portfolio
→Partner with product, strategy and research teams to develop sophisticated ROI frameworks
→Collaborate with our research team on models and model evaluation
→Communicate data strategy, complex analyses and key insights to cross-functional partners
→Structure the company’s data strategy, working closely with our Data Engineering team
→Make critical technical infrastructure decisions for the data organization
→Build the data science org of the future, incorporating best practices to utilize AI

Requirements

✓MS or PhD in quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, or related)
✓12+ years in data-science or analytics, especially in product-facing roles
✓Depth of experience using Python, R, SQL for large-scale analytics
✓Comfort building data capabilities from the earliest stages through rapid growth
✓Experience with data visualization tools, both BI tools and code-based tools
✓Excellent communicator capable of delivering quantitative findings to non-technical stakeholders
✓A strong leader who can build great teams and drive urgency in execution
