The work:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that sensitive business data is accessible only to authorized users, automating access requests and audit workflows within the Power BI environment
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Development & Visualization:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain advanced interactive dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Power BI Desktop and Service.
β’ Develop complex DAX queries and calculated measures for advanced analytics.
β’ Build and optimize data models, relationships, and data transformations using Power Query.
IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) & Data Security:
β’ Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Column-Level Security to ensure appropriate data access.
β’ Integrate Power BI workspaces with Azure AD / Entra ID to manage permissions.
β’ Develop audit reports to track access, usage, and permission changes for compliance (GDPR, SOX).
β’ Collaborate with InfoSec to integrate Power BI access with IGA tools (SailPoint, Saviynt) for automated access certification.
Collaboration & Data Management:
β’ Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate into technical specifications.
β’ Optimize Data Gateways and report performance for scalability.
β’ Provide training and documentation to end-users on data security within the BI environment.
Here is what you need:
β’ US Citizen (No dual citizenship)
β’ Active DoD Secret clearance required
β’ 2+ years of experience in data preparation, data modeling, and reporting using Power BI.
β’ Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling (star schemas), and DAX.
β’ Proven experience implementing data security, RLS, and Azure AD integration.
β’ Understanding of data governance principles and compliance standards.
Preferred experience:
β’ Experience integrating Power BI with IGA tools (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt)
β’ Experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Azure Synapse).
β’ Knowledge of Power Automate for data alerts and compliance workflows.
β’ Security+ or equivalent certification.
β’ BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
