Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Technical Lead to oversee and manage critical SAP technical domains, including SAP Basis, SAP Application Security, SAP Development, SAP Data Migration, and SAP Integration. This role will play a key part in ensuring seamless operations across both classified (high-side) and unclassified (low-side) environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Oversight:
• Lead and manage teams responsible for SAP Basis, SAP Application Security, SAP Development, SAP Data Migration, and SAP Integration.
• Ensure robust and secure integration of SAP environments between classified (high-side) and unclassified (low-side) systems.
• Oversee technical architecture design and ensure alignment with business and security requirements.
SAP Basis and Infrastructure Management:
• Oversee SAP Basis activities, including system installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and maintenance.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of SAP systems.
• Manage and maintain system landscapes, including development, quality assurance, and production environments.
SAP Development and BTP Expertise:
• Lead SAP development efforts, including custom ABAP development, Fiori applications, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) development.
• Drive innovation by leveraging emerging SAP technologies, such as SAP Build, RISE with SAP, and cloud-based development capabilities.
• Ensure development best practices are followed, including code reviews, performance optimization, and adherence to SAP standards.
SAP Application Security and Governance:
• Oversee SAP Application Security, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage security roles, authorizations, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure secure system operations.
SAP Data Migration and Integration:
• Lead data migration efforts, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data between legacy systems and SAP.
• Oversee integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow.
• Manage complex interfaces between high-side (classified) and low-side (unclassified) environments, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
• Partner with the SAP Program Delivery Lead to define technical deliverables and align with project priorities.
• Collaborate with functional, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Here’s What You Need:
• 7+ years of SAP technical experience, including SAP Basis, SAP Development, and SAP Integration.
• Strong expertise in managing SAP systems in secure, classified environments and integrating with unclassified systems.
• Deep understanding of SAP Application Security, including role design, authorizations, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of SAP data migration tools and methodologies.
Eligibility Requirements:
• US Citizens only (no dual citizenship or OCI Holders).
• Q Clearance and/or Top-Secret clearance required.
• Ability to travel up to 75%
Nice to Haves:
• SAP certifications in Basis, Security, or BTP development.
• Experience with Aerospace & Defense or U.S. Federal manufacturing/MRO project environments.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience implementing and optimizing SAP RISE and leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), including ChaRM and system monitoring.
• Experience with SAP BTP development and RISE with SAP solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in SAP environments.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
