About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Architect to join our team at Achievers. This role focuses on shaping the technical strategy and architectural vision for our marketplace platform, which serves over 4M global users. You will have the opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges at scale, from scaling high-traffic systems to crafting intuitive user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

→Define and evolve the architectural roadmap for critical parts of our marketplace offering
→Lead significant engineering initiatives that drive systemic improvements and technical innovation
→Design, build, and maintain innovative platform capabilities that enhance our platform
→Influence and optimize continuous delivery pipelines and engineering processes
→Evaluate and integrate strategic modern tools and technologies
→Provide mentorship and guidance to senior technical talent
→Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership
→Evangelize industry trends and cutting-edge Engineering practices

Requirements

✓15+ years of progressive software engineering experience
✓Deep expertise in leading complex back-end or full-stack architectural initiatives
✓Proven ability to define and evolve system architecture across multiple teams
✓Extensive experience making strategic technical decisions in a SaaS environment
✓Exceptional systems thinking with a track record of designing for high traffic
✓Outstanding communication skills with executive leadership
✓Experience coaching and mentoring Staff and Senior Staff Engineers
✓Deep expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native patterns
✓Mastery of containerization technologies and orchestration platforms
✓Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience
