Job Title: Proposal Writer Location: Remote Only Indians

Position Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Proposal Writer to support the creation of high-quality, compliant, and persuasive proposals for federal, state, and local government opportunities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts, capture managers, and leadership teams to produce compelling proposal content that aligns with CTE’s business objectives and win strategies. This role requires strong writing skills, knowledge of the government procurement process, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Proposal Development Review and analyze RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to extract requirements and ensure compliance. Write, edit, and format proposal sections, including technical, management, staffing, and past performance narratives. Collaborate with business development, contracts, IT, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather input and tailor content to agency needs. Compliance & Quality Assurance Develop and maintain compliance matrices to ensure all solicitation requirements are met. Edit and proofread proposals for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Ensure alignment with CTE branding, messaging, and win themes. Coordination & Collaboration Work with Proposal and Capture Managers to turn strategies into persuasive written responses. Participate in Pink/Red Team reviews and integrate reviewer feedback. Support proposal visuals, such as graphics, charts, and infographics, to enhance readability. Documentation & Templates Maintain a content library of boilerplate materials, resumes, and past performance references. Contribute to continuous improvement of templates, style guides, and proposal processes. Capture reusable proposal content to support knowledge management initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience: Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proposal writing experience in government contracting (federal, state, or local). Knowledge: Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, government procurement, and small business programs.

Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. Skilled at translating technical information into clear, customer-focused narratives. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with proposal management tools is a plus. Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Business, or related field.
