About the Role

We are looking for driven, successful Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our Business Intelligence unit at Actian. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for customers interested in Actian’s AI-powered data visualization tool, helping to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

→Qualify prospects and document information into a winning sales plan in Salesforce.com
→Reach out to new contacts in existing customer accounts and users of our free BI tools
→Stay organized and report learnings from client interactions to sales management
→Utilize cutting-edge sales and prospecting tools to connect with prospective customers
→Identify and prioritize accounts that are most likely to generate revenue
→Plan and conduct outreach in a modern sales methodology
→Build relationships and generate engagement with key decision makers
→Discover customer pain points and tell the Actian story to differentiate our technology

Requirements

✓6 months+ of sales or service experience
✓Prior track record of success in a Sales Development role
✓Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with managers, executives, and customers
✓Measurable track record of succeeding in a goal-oriented environment
✓Self-starter with a creative and results-driven attitude
✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
✓Experience with email cadence/template development
✓Experience in enterprise SaaS and analytics is a plus
✓Prior sales training and experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
✓Ability to use or learn modern sales prospecting tools
