About the Role
We are looking for driven, successful Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our Data Intelligence unit at Actian. As an SDR, you will be responsible for prospecting new business, qualifying prospects, and providing insights that showcase Actian's technology and value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- →Qualify prospects and document information into a winning sales plan in Salesforce.com
- →Follow up on attendees to webinars or in-person trade shows
- →Reach out to new contacts in existing customer accounts
- →Conduct outbound activities to net new logo accounts
- →Synthesize and report learnings from client interactions to sales management
- →Convert small data points and interactions into new sales opportunities
- →Utilize cutting-edge sales and prospecting tools to connect with prospective customers
- →Identify and prioritize accounts that are most likely to generate revenue
- →Plan and conduct outreach in a modern sales methodology
- →Build relationships and generate engagement with key decision makers
- →Contribute to and develop key messaging and content to drive repeatability
- →Achieve qualified meeting/opportunity creation quota and productivity goals
- →Manage an organized territory plan and maintain Salesforce.com with precision
Requirements
- ✓6 months+ of sales or service experience
- ✓Prior track record of Sales Development role success is preferable
- ✓Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with managers, executives, and customers
- ✓Measurable track record of succeeding in a goal-oriented environment
- ✓Self-starter with a creative and results-driven attitude
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Experience with email cadence/template development
- ✓Experience in enterprise SaaS and analytics is a plus
- ✓Prior sales training and experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
- ✓Ability to use or learn to use modern sales prospecting tools
