About the Role
We are looking for a Platform Security Engineer to join Adyen, a financial technology platform serving major companies like Meta, Uber, and Microsoft. This role focuses on building and operating security solutions to enhance Adyen's security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security strategy to protect our infrastructure
- →Collaborate with internal teams to identify, assess, and mitigate potential security risks
- →Research, develop, implement, maintain, and own security solutions and tooling
- →Support security assessments and audits
- →Review architecture changes, network designs, and new technologies
- →Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and events
- →Join the Security On Call group rotation
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience in Linux System Administration, Linux Security, Container Security, or Vulnerability Management
- ✓Proficiency in two or more areas: Operating System Security, Container Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, Incident Response, or Offensive Security
- ✓Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go
- ✓Mindset to script, automate, and scope projects
- ✓Pragmatic approach to security with strong communication skills
- ✓Passion for open source and practical solutions
- ✓Eager to learn and adapt to change
