About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Financial Products team at Adyen in Chicago. You will be responsible for building the financial backbone for the world’s leading platforms, translating complex business logic into trustworthy solutions for business banking customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and execute projects from concept to hand-off, translating complex user needs into clear, intuitive flows and interfaces.
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure designs are feasible and delivered to a high standard.
- →Use qualitative and quantitative insights to validate design decisions.
- →Contribute to the Adyen design system, ensuring consistency across our product suite.
- →Clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders and use feedback to iterate and improve work.
- →Participate in design reviews, critiques, and knowledge-sharing sessions to maintain a high bar for quality.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- ✓3-5 years in product/UX design, ideally within SaaS, B2B/Enterprise, or complex digital products and workflows.
- ✓Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to solve functional problems in complex spaces.
- ✓Eager to learn about the payments industry and financial products.
- ✓Thrive in team environments and contribute to healthy debate.
- ✓Action-oriented with a focus on delivering value.
