About the Role
We are looking for Kotlin Engineers to join our team at Adyen, a financial technology platform serving major companies like Meta, Uber, and Microsoft. You will help develop our in-person payments solution for a diverse range of payment terminals.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop solutions for payment terminals accepting various payment methods including credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and QR codes
- →Implement communication with the Adyen backend to create a unified platform solution
- →Integrate with various cash registers using modern standards
- →Develop main business logic in Kotlin for deployment on Android and Linux-based payment terminals and backend
- →Test code using various methods from unit testing to automated product testing
- →Propose improvements and new solutions for your team and the platform
- →Take ownership of features from design to implementation, testing, and monitoring
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of cumulative development experience in Android/Kotlin
- ✓3+ years of experience in software design and development in Kotlin
- ✓Knowledge of databases including Postgresql and SQLite
- ✓Ability to communicate fluently in English
