About the Role
We are looking for Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers with experience in the Water industry to join our Infrastructure Project Management team at AECOM. You will work on the recently announced £88bn AMP8 investment period, managing water projects across North, Midlands, and Scotland regions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery
- →Participate in meetings including minuting and proactively engaging in discussions
- →Proactively engage with Client, contractor and other stakeholders
- →Provide client-side project management including stakeholder, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management
- →Support projects and commissions delivered to client satisfaction for quality, cost, and time
- →Manage the project team ensuring appropriate resources are provided
- →Manage the delivery of project management team outputs according to agreed timescales
- →Develop strong relationships with clients and team members
- →Support business development opportunities
- →Provide support on contract management services on NEC4 contracts
- →Advise clients on procurement strategies and review tender documentation
- →Provide support and mentoring to Graduates and Apprentices
Requirements
- ✓History of delivering projects in the Water industry
- ✓Experience working with NEC4 contracts
- ✓Strong understanding of project management principles
- ✓Ability to work with stakeholders and resolve disputes
- ✓Experience with procurement strategies and tender documentation
- ✓Knowledge of contract management systems
- ✓Ability to mentor and support junior team members
