About the Role
AECOM's Water group is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Programmer for a large capital project involving highly integrated Industrial Control Systems (ICS) in the wastewater treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop specifications for SCADA, DCS, and other controls systems, including low voltage applications such as telecommunications, CCTV, and security
- →Develop specifications for controls and instrumentation systems with a focus on SCADA & DCS systems
- →Design instrumentation and process control devices for various processes including water/wastewater treatment and light industrial applications
- →Develop and implement industrial control systems configurations, graphics, databases, and connected systems
- →Participate in the implementation of advanced software applications and automatic control strategies
- →Participate in simulations, testing, and commissioning of process control applications
- →Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- →Assist the team in ensuring engineering deliverables comply with regulations, standards, and engineering practices
Requirements
- ✓Experience in the application and startup of industrial process controls
- ✓Knowledge of SCADA, DCS, and PLC systems
- ✓Understanding of instrumentation and process control devices
- ✓Experience with industrial control systems configurations and databases
- ✓Ability to participate in software implementation, testing, and commissioning
- ✓Troubleshooting skills for system issues
- ✓Familiarity with engineering regulations, standards, and practices
