AECOM is seeking experienced Environmental Project Manager for a hyrbrid role, for either our Charlotte or  Raleigh, North Carolina office with leaking underground storage tank (UST) investigation/remediation experience (retail petroleum), particularly working with the NCDEQ UST Trust Fund.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate UST investigation/remediation project experience and require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
β’ Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation/remediation and construction projects.
β’ Preparing cost estimates and proposals, and maintaining financial KPIs
β’ Completing a variety of remedial designs
β’ Building strong client relationships
β’ Client and regulatory correspondence
β’ Technical report writing and review
β’ Analyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertise
β’ Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
β’ Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
β’ Coordinating work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractors
β’ Responsible for quality control of tasks
β’ Prepare NCDEQ UST Trust Fund reimbursement paperwork and submit in a timely manner to the Incident Manager
β’ Mentor project Jr. staff
β’ Will require some regional travel for field visits
β’ Supervise up to 5 staff
