About the Role
AECOM’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking an Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) Designer to join their ICT Team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and involves applying in-depth knowledge of ICT infrastructure to complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Apply knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform complex assignments including design and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects
- →Perform ICT design for Structured Cabling Systems, Campus/WAN, Passive Optical Networks (PON), and Power panel and circuit Identification
- →Coordinate ICT power requirements and demonstrate ISP and OSP infrastructure knowledge
- →Utilize Site and building ICT asset inventory and ESRI Field maps GIS system for general mapping
- →Perform specific ICT Design duties as part of a team of expert Consultants
- →Work on detailed and routine design assignments and propose solutions to solve complex problems
- →Perform work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision
- →Demonstrate flexibility with working schedule surges, travel, and supporting multiple projects/designers
Requirements
- ✓Solid understanding of client business practices and goals
- ✓In-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses
- ✓Experience with design and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects
- ✓Familiarity with Structured Cabling Systems, Campus/WAN, Passive Optical Networks (PON)
