About the Role
We are looking for a talented Lead Pipeline CAD - Mapping Designer to join our team at AECOM. This role involves designing pipelines and creating plan and profile drawings using CADD and various extensions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Use CADD and 3rd Party Extensions (Blue Sky Skyline and Plex Earth) with engineering input and standards to design pipelines and plan and profile drawings
- →Communicate project specific pipeline design issues with engineering team
- →Take direction from engineering team and project managers on required design changes
- →Import Survey data and surfaces to build design basefiles
- →Track project design changes
- →Perform complex CADD assignments and coordinate CADD drawing production in support of the manager
- →Lead less experienced drafters, showing them how to complete more complex tasks
- →Assist in drawing production as needed to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- ✓Experience with CADD and 3rd Party Extensions (Blue Sky Skyline and Plex Earth)
- ✓Ability to communicate project specific pipeline design issues with engineering team
- ✓Understanding of engineering team and project managers' requirements
- ✓Skills in importing Survey data and surfaces to build design basefiles
- ✓Ability to track project design changes
