About the Role
We are looking for a creative and talented Project Manager to join AECOM in our Boston, MA home office. This role will support programs throughout the US and internationally, providing leadership in the management of design, technical, and administrative staff on complex projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead teams in the delivery of a wide range of projects in partnership with the Project Director, Sr Manager, and/or Project Architect
- →Oversee all facets of the project to ensure they are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule
- →Responsible for overall project management administration, establishing project-specific objectives and policies
- →Ensure project completion within budget, schedule, and in conformance with specifications
- →Review contracts and sub-contracts, and assist in managing subcontractors
- →Monitor project financials and report to the Project Manager
- →Develop and maintain design schedules for approval
- →Resolve field-initiated questions with the technical design team
- →Coordinate and direct activities among the design groups
- →Participate in design review meetings, record meeting minutes, and track action items
- →Coordinate the development of project deliverables with the design team
- →Build and maintain positive client relationships
- →Administer projects from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout
Requirements
- ✓Experience in project management within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
- ✓Strong leadership and team management skills
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- ✓Ability to manage complex projects within budget and schedule constraints
- ✓Knowledge of contract management and subcontractor coordination
- ✓Experience with financial monitoring and reporting
- ✓Proficiency in developing and maintaining project schedules
- ✓Ability to resolve technical questions and coordinate design activities
- ✓Experience in client relationship management
- ✓Significant profit/loss responsibility experience for assigned projects
