About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Resources + Industry team in Townsville. You will contribute to the planning, modelling and documentation of electrical systems, ensuring quality and compliance with Australian standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform advanced electrical design and drafting using AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise and related design tools
- →Develop concept designs with minimal supervision and ensure safety and innovation are embedded early
- →Produce high-quality drawings, models and documentation aligned with AECOM’s workflows and quality standards
- →Identify and resolve design clashes by collaborating with engineering and drafting partners
- →Manage your own work scope, schedule and deliverables, including small project components
Requirements
- ✓Experience in electrical design and drafting
- ✓Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ProjectWise
- ✓Ability to develop concept designs with minimal supervision
- ✓Strong understanding of Australian standards and quality requirements
- ✓Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
