About the Role
The Senior Engineer plays a key role in delivering discipline involvement in projects and ensuring effective delivery input from team members. This position involves detailed engineering assignments, design development, and supervision of junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Deliver discipline involvement in projects and ensure effective delivery input of others
- →Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, drawings, and reports
- →Perform design development, design review, supervision, coordination, and design documentation
- →Guide junior engineers and independently perform all tasks necessary to complete design works
- →Share technical expertise and experience with others in the company via internal technical communication and presentations
- →Develop high-quality design outputs
- →Lead a design team of junior and mid-level Structures staff
- →Ensure assigned teams effectively coordinate with other disciplines
- →Bring project teams together to work toward a shared goal
- →Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced staff
- →Build and maintain client relationships
- →Participate in preparing major bids and proposals
- →Technically lead aspects of projects
- →Interface with clients on schedules, meetings, and issues
- →Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays
- →Apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles
- →Support digital transformation strategy
- →Follow or develop design procedures
- →Take responsibility for structural design and drawings
- →Attend planning, design, and site meetings
- →Undertake technical reviews and audits
- →Work in a safe manner, complying with HSE policies
- →Ensure implementation of safety and integrity principles
- →Promote compliance with engineering standards
Requirements
- ✓Working knowledge of Revit, Tekla Structural Designer, Etabs, SAP2000, Robot, Idea Statica, and other associated design programs
- ✓Experience with BIM tools and multi-disciplinary team environments
- ✓Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- ✓Growth mindset, attention to detail, and excellent work ethic
- ✓Ability to perform hands-on design work
- ✓Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- ✓Understanding of safety and integrity principles in structural documentation
- ✓Familiarity with relevant engineering standards and internal procedures
