About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Engineer to provide specialized technical expertise and design support for diverse infrastructure projects across Africa and beyond. This role involves working on major roads, public transport systems, non-motorized transport, railway corridors, ports and harbors, and urban developments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Coordinate small to mid-size project teams of discipline-led engineers
- →Provide specialized technical input into studies and design work
- →Develop design by gathering, correlating, and analyzing engineering data
- →Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates
- →Perform technical quality reviews of design calculations and transportation models
- →Mentoring junior staff
- →Build and maintain client relationships
- →Participate in the development and preparation of bids and proposals
- →Act as Project Manager on small to medium size discipline-specific projects
Requirements
- ✓Experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering
