About the Role
We are seeking a client-facing Project Manager to join our growing Buildings + Places practice in Indianapolis. This high-visibility opportunity involves leading complex, multidisciplinary work that shapes cities, communities, and mission-driven organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and be accountable for end-to-end project performance across the full lifecycle
- →Serve as the primary senior client point of contact, building trust and guiding decision-making
- →Shape and negotiate scope, fees, and work plans across architecture and engineering disciplines
- →Drive rigorous project controls including schedule, budget, risk, quality management, and change management
- →Lead and develop high-performing teams, setting expectations and mentoring emerging leaders
- →Facilitate strong governance and communication through effective meeting leadership and milestone reporting
- →Maintain financial stewardship including invoicing cadence, forecasting, and performance metrics
- →Anticipate and resolve issues early to maintain momentum and achieve client objectives
- →Support growth by contributing to pursuit strategy, proposal development, and client account expansion
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in project management within architecture or engineering disciplines
- ✓Strong client-development and delivery mindset with executive presence
- ✓Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects
- ✓Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- ✓Experience with project controls, budget management, and risk assessment
- ✓Track record of building client relationships and growing business
- ✓Leadership experience in mentoring emerging project leaders
