About the Role
We are looking for a Ports and Navigation Project Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. This role involves managing various ports and navigation projects, providing technical leadership, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as Project Manager for small to large ports and navigation projects including dredging, beneficial use of dredged materials, feasibility studies, and coastal restoration projects.
- →Provide technical leadership for projects from the planning phase through construction on all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects.
- →Demonstrate experience in conventional and advanced technologies and alternative delivery projects.
- →Prepare technical memoranda, planning studies, and final design calculations, plans, and specifications.
- →Coordinate with other discipline leads, clients, consultants, and agencies in management and implementation of projects.
- →Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods.
- →Assist in identifying opportunities, development of proposals, and statement of qualifications.
- →Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- →Actively participate in ports and marine industry-specific conferences and professional organizations.
- →Provide technical direction and mentorship for junior staff.
