About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Design Lead to join our multidisciplinary data centre team. This pivotal role involves leading the design and delivery of complex hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centre projects across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams across UKI and Europe
- →Oversee all phases of data centre projects from site due diligence through to construction documentation
- →Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design outputs that meet client requirements
- →Identify and mitigate project risks early, providing innovative solutions
- →Support commercial and contractual governance, ensuring compliance
- →Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients
- →Present to clients and stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery
- →Collaborate with design and local delivery teams for compliance
- →Respond to client requirements in a timely manner
Requirements
- ✓Experience leading technical design teams in data centre projects
- ✓Strong understanding of hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centre design
- ✓Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and client relationships
- ✓Knowledge of project phases from due diligence to construction documentation
- ✓Experience with commercial and contractual governance
- ✓Excellent communication and presentation skills
- ✓Ability to travel across UK&I and European offices
- ✓Track record of delivering high-quality design outputs on time
