About the Role
We are seeking an IT/HelpDesk Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support services to end-users and systems at Agile Defense. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT systems, and ensuring smooth operations for our national security missions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide support to end-users for PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware
- →Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues
- →Install, modify, and clean computer hardware and software
- →Write training manuals and train computer users on new hardware and software
- →Oversee daily performance of computer systems and evaluate software programs
- →Respond to inquiries from computer users and run diagnostics to resolve problems
- →Collaborate with team members to create guides, instructions, and knowledge base articles
- →Operate and provide technical assistance on various IT equipment
Requirements
- ✓DoD IAT Level II Certification
- ✓Proficient in IT Service Management systems like ServiceNow or Remedy
- ✓Excellent Customer Service and communications skills
- ✓Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory and Print server administration
- ✓Knowledge of Change Management and issue escalation
- ✓Proficient in Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- ✓Ability to mentor and assist junior technicians
- ✓Proficient in Remote Desktop support and VDI
- ✓Experience with remote access for diagnostic issues
- ✓Ability to communicate with customers over email, phone, and collaboration tools
- ✓Understanding and implementation of organization security policies and procedures
