About the Role
The Homes Global Business team at Airbnb is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to support business analysis, strategy recommendations, and special data projects for the Stays Business. This role will play a key part in driving Airbnb's growth and expansion efforts worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build data support and run analysis to determine key business trends on supply, demand, and product
- →Deliver data and insights to enable the company’s growth efforts
- →Provide mentorship and support to junior business analysts
- →Run business data for regional teams
- →Build tools to equip regional teams with relevant data support
- →Deep dive on trends to support planning cycle and business performance review
- →Assist leadership with inquiries, providing data-driven insights
- →Develop actionable business analysis
- →Work with Strategic Finance and Advanced Analytics teams
- →Create decks to communicate strategy and business performance
- →Support special projects like new market expansion analyses
- →Provide analytical support on cross-functional projects
- →Assist ongoing projects with progress tracking and measurement
- →Partner with functional teams to understand ROI and drive actions
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of relevant experience in business analysis
- ✓Extensive work experience in data science with a strong business background in consumer
- ✓Strong fluency in SQL and Tableau, Python is a plus
- ✓Proven ability to work in collaborative and independent environments
- ✓Proven ability to communicate clearly to audiences of varying technical levels
