About the Role
Air New Zealand is seeking a Mobile Engineer (iOS) to join their Digital team, focused on building, testing, and supporting new and existing software applications. This role involves hands-on development and contributing to modern mobile solutions at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and enhance mobile applications on Apple platforms, and backend-for-frontend development.
- →Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver customer value
- →Help improve app performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- →Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- →Stay updated with the latest Apple technologies and best practices.
- →Contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions with guidance from senior engineers.
Requirements
- ✓Solid experience in iOS development.
- ✓Good technical expertise in Swift and SwiftUI development.
- ✓Exposure to backend-for-frontend development patterns and deployments.
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD (or a willingness to learn).
- ✓Good understanding of mobile app design patterns and UI guidelines.
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
