About the Role
We are looking for a Product Design Manager to lead our enterprise growth team at Airtable, focusing on AI adoption for large organizations and user interactions with agents. This role requires balancing people leadership with hands-on design work.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage 1-3 product designers, providing clear ownership, direct feedback, and support for growth
- →Own your team's feedback culture, setting a high bar for constructive feedback
- →Understand each designer's growth areas, provide specific feedback, and create development opportunities
- →Manage resourcing for your area, scope work appropriately, and protect your team from overload
- →Partner with product management and engineering leads to define roadmaps and success metrics
- →Use design-led exploration to help define problem and solution spaces
- →Engage directly with enterprise customers and users to inform design decisions
- →Contribute as an individual designer, owning end-to-end design for significant projects
Requirements
- ✓1-2 years of prior experience managing designers
- ✓Strong and current design craft with a portfolio of work you're proud of
- ✓Ability to balance team leadership and hands-on design work
- ✓Experience with complex problems in enterprise design
