About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join Airwallex, a unified payments and financial platform for global businesses. This role involves leading strategic design projects that shape key customer experiences and overseeing end-to-end user experience designs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop an in-depth understanding of domain knowledge across platform products
- →Own strategic design projects that shape key customer experiences
- →Work with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and develop innovative design solutions
- →Navigate through ambiguity to help achieve product market fit
- →Lead a team of product designers, providing mentorship and setting clear career paths
- →Oversee end-to-end user experience designs across desktop, mobile web, and app
- →Provide concrete, actionable feedback to team members
- →Establish and evolve our design system and guidelines
- →Build a robust design team and design culture within the organization
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience as a UX/Product designer, including 4+ years in a leadership role
- ✓Experience working in a fast-paced tech start-up environment
- ✓Strong product logic and first principle thinking
- ✓Ability to explore and thrive in ambiguous project contexts
- ✓Experience working in complex systems with multi-disciplinary, multi-threaded user journeys
- ✓Track record of recruiting and hiring a world-class design team
- ✓Strong portfolio showcasing project experience with both UI and UX design for responsive web platforms
- ✓Passion for mentorship and helping designers and teams achieve their full potential
- ✓Degree in Design, HCI, or related field
