About the Role
Airwallex is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager, Money Laundering Reporting Officer for Vietnam to drive and embed the company's compliance program. This key role will partner with internal teams to design, develop, implement, and monitor screening and monitoring rules, supporting regulatory obligations for the Vietnam market.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and develop the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) compliance framework in Vietnam
- →Manage departmental and individual targets for the FCC Team
- →Execute Airwallex’s AML regulatory interactions, examinations, and ad-hoc requests
- →Represent Airwallex with regulators and financial partners
- →Develop and maintain an effective anti-money laundering program
- →Manage BAU tasks including EDD approvals, name screening alert escalations, and Suspicious Matter Reports
- →Provide compliance advice to Commercial and Operations teams
- →Work with Financial Partnership team on external enquiries
- →Develop monitoring and reporting processes for senior management
- →Design reports to measure AML Compliance initiatives and Key Risk Indicators
- →Coordinate with stakeholders to address issues in audit reports
- →Drive internal controls design and monitoring
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 8 years financial crimes compliance experience in a State Bank of Vietnam-licensed institution
- ✓Ability to multitask and handle challenging priorities
- ✓Stakeholder engagement and management skills
- ✓Fluency in Vietnamese and English
