About the Role
Airwallex is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Singapore. The DevOps team is focused on building a reliable and effective cloud infrastructure for AWX services, managing K8s clusters, and creating tooling to empower the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the design of DevOps strategy and work with cross-functional teams to develop cloud infrastructure optimized for performance, scalability, and security
- →Develop observability and detection capabilities to decrease time to discover problems and increase stability
- →Build consensus among DevOps Engineers across geographies about tools and practices, evolving into agreed standards
Requirements
- ✓Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Python/Ansible/shell)
- ✓Software engineering background (Infra/Platform Engineer) with experience in cost management, access management, and self-service platform development
- ✓Operations background (Service Mesh Istio & K8s) with experience in traffic management and service mesh architecture
- ✓Expertise in public cloud, large-scale K8s clusters and services, Istio service mesh, service registry, service discovery, Infra, and Service Reliability
- ✓For Staff level: Around 10 years or at least 8 years experience with in-depth understanding of project complexity and code system design
- ✓For Senior level: Around 6 years or at least 5 years experience with ability to solve coding and system design problems independently
