About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join Airwallex's Treasury team. This role focuses on building robust payment reconciliation frameworks and safeguarding processes across global payment flows, ensuring customer funds are protected and financial operations run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- →Improve transparency on Airwallex’s global cash positions and control environment by developing consistent reporting and analytics
- →Perform data-driven financial and reconciliation analysis on cash flows and payment volumes
- →Design, implement, and enhance safeguarding and client money controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- →Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to define reconciliation requirements and shape data models
- →Drive process standardisation and automation across Treasury and financial operations
- →Provide ad hoc support on Finance and firmwide initiatives
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Business, Economics, or similar fields
- ✓1-2 years of experience in an analytical role in Financial Service, Internet, or Fintech industry
- ✓Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets
- ✓Working knowledge of financial markets, banking/payment products, and accounting standards
- ✓Experience with programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python
- ✓Proficient in English in both written and verbal communication
