About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team at Ajax Systems, a leading European manufacturer of security systems. This role focuses on building automated reports and data pipelines to help the business make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- βCollect and obtain data from various sources: databases, ERP systems, Google Sheets, and APIs
- βClean and transform data through Data Cleaning/Wrangling processes
- βCreate reports and dashboards
- βVisualize data by selecting appropriate visualizations for effective information transmission
- βProvide operational support to the business by answering ad-hoc requests from departments and supporting report consumers
- βDocument analysis methodologies, data sources, and logic for KPI calculations
- βAutomate reports and pipelines using ETL tools or BI tool scheduler functions to reduce manual operational work
Requirements
- βDeep SQL analysis: Writing complex queries using JOIN, CTE, and window functions to obtain necessary data selections
- βBuilding data pipelines and ETL processes: Designing and implementing reliable data loading, transformation, and loading processes from various sources into a single repository (data warehouse, data lake)
- βExperience with cloud platforms: Working with Google BigQuery and Databricks
- βData Storytelling: Ability to not just show a graph but tell a convincing story based on data that leads to specific business decisions, including structuring presentations and communication
- βKnowledge of Power BI
