About the Role
Ajax Systems, a leading European manufacturer of security systems, is seeking a Certification Specialist to join our Device Department. This role involves managing certification projects for our products in foreign laboratories, particularly in the USA.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead end-to-end certification projects: planning, timelines, risks, status updates, and escalations
- βDefine certification scope: standards, tests, and time requirements
- βServe as the main contact with laboratories: project initiation, test plan coordination, date control, explanations, and escalations
- βCoordinate internal teams
- βGather and prepare documentation for certification, including additional specific documentation
- βProcess requests for certificate updates when device changes occur
- βManage billing for certification activities
- βBudget management for planned expenses
- βInitiate and monitor implementation of new manufacturing inspections as required by certification
- βMaintain records of certification documents (Certificates, Reports, Letters, Declarations, etc.)
- βOrganize pre-certification tests as requested by R&D
Requirements
- βUpper-Intermediate English (letters, calls, reports, technical discussions, laboratory visits)
- βExperience in product certification/laboratory testing for electronics/IoT, quality audits
- βExperience in sales/purchasing, communication with clients/suppliers
- βTechnical background (understanding of circuit boards, processors, thermocouples, data transmission)
