About the Role
OpenEye is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join their growing team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools to enable high-quality software delivery through scalable automation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components
- →Create and execute test cases based on project documents, customer demands, and product objectives
- →Set up, maintain, and perform test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms
- →Generate detailed bug reports
- →Analyze software systems and coordinate with other teams to enhance overall design
- →Continuously evaluate and evolve test tools, methodologies, and automation practices
- →Manage final quality on production release
- →Review code to ensure it meets company standards
- →Leverage AI-assisted tools for test creation, code analysis, and defect identification
- →Evaluate and integrate emerging AI-driven automation capabilities
Requirements
- ✓Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Go, or C++
- ✓Experience using AI tools like Copilot or Claude Code
- ✓Experience with build/packing tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven
- ✓Ability to quickly learn new technologies and practices
- ✓Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong quality ethic and test-first attitude
- ✓Great communication and teamwork skills
