About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our growing team in Berlin and support the development of our product and data capabilities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong academic background in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field, who is looking to apply their knowledge in a fast-moving, product-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist in building and evaluating machine learning models that help personalize recommendations and improve user engagement and conversion
- →Support the development and optimization of incentives and reward structures
- →Work with data analytics and engineering to improve data pipelines and data quality
- →Contribute to documentation, measurement plans, and experimentation frameworks
- →Help define and track KPIs to ensure analyses and models support real product impact
- →Take ownership of smaller projects and features under the guidance of senior data scientists
- →Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate models and insights into the product
- →Support improvements in data workflows and processes
- →Participate in technical discussions and bring forward analytical ideas and observations
Requirements
- ✓A strong academic background in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- ✓Solid understanding of statistical modeling, experimentation, and data analysis
- ✓Experience with Python and SQL, gained through coursework, research projects, or internships
- ✓Familiarity with machine learning tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- ✓Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams
