About the Role
We are looking for a People Operations Partner to join Almedia, a rapidly growing company aiming to become Germany’s second bootstrapped unicorn. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth people operations and overseeing daily administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Handle core admin tasks including contracts, document checks, compliance basics, and employee queries
- →Own onboarding/offboarding logistics, equipment tracking, and documentation
- →Maintain HRIS data accuracy and routine updates, support process improvements
- →Manage travel arrangements including bookings, invites, follow-ups, and approvals
- →Coordinate employee surveys and engagement initiatives
- →Handle Payroll Prep & Benefits including collecting variables, updating Personio, filing documents, running monthly benefit checks, and providing first-line support
Requirements
- ✓2+ years in People/HR operations at a startup or growing company
- ✓Sharp eye for detail and ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-moving work
- ✓Familiarity with German employment basics; able to read letters and make calls is a plus
- ✓Hands-on experience with HRIS and everyday office tools
- ✓Full proficiency in English required; German (B2) nice to have
- ✓Systems-minded and solution-oriented approach to long term problem solving
