About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Bridgewater, you will support the Nuclear sector by managing engineering delivery data. You will ensure data from engineering managers and stakeholders is validated and transformed into reliable reporting outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform weekly and monthly engineering delivery data updates from programme stakeholders
- →Clean, reconcile, and validate technical datasets from multiple sources
- →Integrate datasets to create unified engineering reporting views
- →Develop and maintain engineering dashboards and self-service reporting tools (Power BI)
- →Monitor delivery performance and highlight engineering risks or constraints
- →Support preparation of engineering performance reports for senior leadership
- →Translate complex data into technical narratives and visual reporting
- →Interface with engineering teams to resolve data quality issues
- →Engage external stakeholders to unblock engineering data dependencies
- →Troubleshoot input data issues to enable repeatable reporting cycles
- →Support change management and configuration monitoring
- →Document engineering reporting processes and maintain data dictionaries
- →Ensure traceability, auditability, and alignment with engineering governance
Requirements
- ✓3-7 years of experience in data engineering
- ✓Experience with Power BI and dashboard development
- ✓Strong skills in data validation, reconciliation, and integration
- ✓Ability to work with complex technical datasets
- ✓Experience in maintaining robust reporting systems and data processes
- ✓Understanding of engineering governance and data traceability
- ✓Clearance: BPSS
- ✓Location: Bridgewater (Somerset) or Bristol, with 2-3 days per week on site
